MSI Radeon R9 390 8GB Video Card?

Paytend01
Go to solution Solved by Opeth747,

I recommend Sapphire when it comes to AMD. But if you want the red/black theme then MSI is a good choice as well. I say go for it.

Anyone have any good or bad experiences with this card? Anyone have any recommendations while keeping the black/red colors in the same price range?

Its a good card, but I recommend the R9 390 Nitro from Sapphire-Tech.

Both are great, but I prefer stock companies like EVGA & Sapphire.

Sapphire is probaby the better option for any AMD card, I'm pretty sure the Sapphire 390 is called Nitro or something like that.

Also the STRIX is fantastic but expensive.

Not on AMD cards, even the Strix cards on Nvidia chips are mediocre at best.

All the other coolers have vram cooling. But disappointingly Asus hasn't, not even on DCU III.

Lol, are you joking? DCUIII was disappointing. Three fans and it still cooled like crap.
