Go to solution Solved by Tedster,

Hello all i'm running windows 8.1 on a pc with a wireless adapter and i got blocked of my modem/router

My modem is a technicolor tg587n v3

Thanks All

I have the 582n, I believe. It sounds like your best option is to perform a hard reset, but please be warned that you will need to set it back up from scratch.

Do you control the router?

If you're blocked (assuming the person changed the password of the modem) from a modem, you're out of luck.

You can try to sneak in and push the WPS button, but I don't see how you can recover connection if the modem physically doesn't allow you to do so.

Hacking is the only option (I don't support hacking in any way.)

If you have access:

Reset the modem if you forgot your wireless keypass.

Hold the reset button for like 10 seconds and your modem should reset to it's default settings.

Then set up your password from there.

Once you reset the router, you might need to call your ISP again depending if it's a modem/router combo and what kind of service you use.

And if you were stealing bandwidth, you deserved it in every single way.

It is ILLEGAL to use someone else's wireless network without permission.

If you got locked out, GG m8.

You mean you are using someone elses wifi and they changed the password?

There are ways but itsquestionable if not downright illegal to hack into it.
