Need help with first gaming pc

So I have 2 xbox ones. My main one is the advanced warfare edition with 1 tb and the second one is the white halo mcc edition. 

I'm trying to trade it on craigslist for a gaming pc and I believe I found the perfect one but I needed advice on if I should or shouldn't go through with the trade if I can get a better deal.

Would also love any recommendations on upgrades on the pc as well

My main purpose for the getting the pc is for gaming and the main games im trying to play are Witcher 3, GTA V, and Sims 4.

CPU: AMD 8150 8 core w/ corsair watercooler

MOBO: Asrock/Fatality 990fx professional
RAM : 16gb of 1666mhz
GPU: Nvidia gtx 580

PSU: 750 watt 80 gold modular
Case: Thor custom with adjustable fans

 

I know he forgot to tell me what hdd he is including, Thats the first thing I will ask in the morning. 

Please let me know of any other questions I should ask him as well

If you want a budget gaming rig, invest in a GTX 750 or 960. 

I personally use a FX-8350 and it has issues with older games, which does not use more than one core though.

580 is a 2010 gpu

AMD cpus are good in the mid and low range, but as soon as you get above the Mid range, Intel has the market cornered. 

 

See if you can sell the Xbone and just build yourself a computer. Check out PCPartpicker.com for suggestions in almost every price range

Thanks guys. Really appreciate it. Turns out he had a 1 TB Seagate Barracuda as well. Gonna trade him and then scrap the mobo, gpu and cpu and get something with a little more power.

First and only game I can think is Battlefield 4, and FX chips still fall behind Intel counterparts. I'd rather you find a benchmark to prove me wrong, because I don't know any decent benchmarks that show the FX winning.

There's not a single game that uses 8 threads reasonably and will not, you're the baka that told me to get benchmarks in the first place. If you want to prove me wrong and see less of my "bias," get your own damned benchmarks and prove me wrong. You for some reason started to think i said AMD is better, i never said that, AMD CPU lineup is old, but its not shit as you agreed on, it can get the job done. Thats something your biased mind simply cant accept. Stop being a brand loyalist. Keep using Intel and be happy, i have no problems running games on my old FX 6300.
