NZXT s340 case, what fans are better suited SP or AF for front Intake?

Go to solution Solved by MeltingPoint,

Which ones would you suggest if I got the Venturi, Static pressure or air flow for the front intake?

I always use static pressure optimized fans whether its for coolers or case ventilation. Its a misconception that SP fans do not have good airflow. They might be even better because they have to move air though fan grills, filters and whatnot.

I've recently bought the NZXT S340 case and I'm looking for front Air intake fans. The s340 front section of the case has air gaps along the top and bottom, which leads me to think SP fans would be better, but are they nessesary as the s340 has no hard drive cages where the fans are placed? I'm not using a radiator at the front just thinking of 2x corsair 120mm fans.

Corsair fans are noisy. Get something like Be Quiet! Pure Wings 2 (they're $10) or Fractal Design Venturi fans

Use BeQuiet!, Fractal Design or Noctua fans.

Corsair fans are noisy and not as good as others.

I have the Corsair fans and they're damn near silent. It just depends on the RPM that you run them at.

still a rip off imo. For $30 gets you 2 fans. Or you can get 3 Be Quiet! Pure Wings 2 fans or 2 Noctua NF-S12A fans. or spend $10 more and get 2 NF-F12 fans.
