do you recomend a good ac1200 router?

i only have 10mbps internet soooo... i could get up to 40

any way with what speed i pay for do you know of any?

archer c5 is good value.

i have a usb adapter that is ac 1200 and backwards compatable i only have a modem/ router  isp box and want a router for faster download times.

 

i got this adapter so i could get an ac router in the future. 

 

the one i am looking at is a ac1300 will my ac 1200 adapter work? be "bottlenecked" but work

those are theoretical speeds and they say nothing about the quality of the actual router or adapter. 

it will work though.

not all routers are made the same? just like everything else in the world? imagine me saying I am going to buy 3ghz cpu. Doesn't say much does it?

gaming router sounds cringy though.

no experience with d-link routers. tp-link however has not let me down so far.

no I use a cheap tp-link one because I live in one room apartment, don't need any coverage or speed. But I have friends using c5 and they have no complaints.
