Moving to ssd

Imitablemeat
Go to solution Solved by d33g33,

There are heaps of migration tools for moving from a HDD to SSD, check out http://www.farstone.com/software/drive-clone.php

I want to avoid deleting all of my data to move my windows installation to the ssd, can I install windows onto the ssd THROUGH my current windows installation and if so is there a guide that I can follow

You can clone your current installation to the SSD, but it's recommended to just start fresh.

No. You must clone the drive.
