Dirty Unicorn ROM Notification control help

I just installed the Dirty Unicorn 5.0.2 ROM, and i can't find anywhere how to disable the notification overlay at the top of the screen when i get a new notification.  I can swipe it away, but a lot of the time it is blocking part of the app i'm in, if you know how to turn it off, please help, thank you.

If it's always the same app, or a handful, you can try this

When the notification appears, press and hold it, and a tiny menu should pop up, with the option to ignore all notifications of it.

Not ideal because it makes them disappear completely. 

 

Btw, i still rock 4.4.4 so 0 experience on lollipop ;D

1. post this stuff to mobile section, will probably get more help there.

2. As far as I recall, heads up cannot be globally disabled.

forgot about the "consumer products" section, and ok, i'll try seeing if it can be done manually, but it doesn't happen all the time, but not just one app either

i thought about going back to 4.4, but i'm so used to lollipop i don't think i could

Update: It was a hidden quick settings menu
