Motherboard and SLI Compatability

Go to solution Solved by Pugs501,

Yup

It supports SLI/Crossfire

I am building my first computer, and plan to use it primarily for gaming and some video/picture editing with programs like photoshop. I have chosen the parts that I want so far, but I want my PC to have upgradablilty also. I have chosen one MSI 970 graphics card, and in the future I plan to buy another for two way SLI. Will the motherboard I have chosen work with two graphics cards? Any feedback on my build is appreciated! Thanks in advance! The build: http://pcpartpicker.com/p/JzCgmG

4790k is overkill if you're gaming mainly. The 4690k is good enough for some video editing.

Intel i7 7700K | MSI Z270 Gaming M3 | MSI GTX 1070 Gaming X| Corsair Vengeance LPX 2x8GB DDR4 3000Mhz Samsung EVO 850 250GB | WD Blue 1TB | Corsair CS650M | Thermalright Macho Rev. A | NZXT S340

CM Storm Quickfire TK [MX Blues] | Zowie FK1 |  Kingston HyperX Cloud

my next post was gonna be about a PSU... Anything you can reccommend that is not too expensive?

Will be fine for a pair of 970's with overclocking, Titans or 290's would need something a bit bigger. But so long as your GPU upgrades stick to similar power consumption of the 970 / 980 then you'll be fine with 2 and overclocks.
