MY 55" 1080P TV LOOKS BETTER WITH 720P THAN 1080P GAMING

Go to solution Solved by SkilledRebuilds,

Some Bigger TV's are not in fact 1080p native,.. yet can display that resolution as a selectable option, although not being native it can be worse.

My 32" & my older 42" are 1366x768 native, yet both of these can run 1080p resolutions.

Make/Model search for a website and the specs should be listed for whats native.

If it's a 1080p native,.. some thing is still seriously wrong.

this is very annoying as the content looks wierd and rough and you can read text well.. please help .. its a Super General 55" 3D TV

make sure your GPU is outputting in native 1080p and the windows display settings are also at 1080p

then go into the tv settings and find an adjust or auto adjust setting

also, are you using HDMI?
