First Build - SLI Questions

Go to solution Solved by Dubesta11,

Are there any specific drivers for SLI after this is done though?

Nvidia drivers should handle it, check out GeForce Experience

Hi, this is my first post and first build, in about 2 weeks i'll finally be getting around to building my first gaming rig, the only problem being is that i don't know to set up 2 cards in SLI, ill be using 2 GTX 980's, the extent of my knowledge is that i have to have compatible components (which i do) and the cards have to be connected with a bridge. Once i've made sure that none of the components were dead on arrival and the build is done what steps do i then need to do to ensure that the two cards are actually running in SLI? Thanks.

Your motherboard should have a special bridge connector, just install both cards and connect them with the connector.
