Will a R9 290 fit inside a BitFenix Colossus?

Go to solution Solved by Nakano2k1,

Oh god yes... A R9 290 will fit. It's an E-ATX case!

Hello

I'm a newbie when it comes to PC's, I still have a lot to learn but I plan on building my own PC. The thing is I don't know if the GPU I want will fit into the case I want, the case is a BitFenix Colossus and the GPU is a R9 290. I looked at the dimensions for the case and it told the WxHxD but on the GPU it didn't tell you what was what and it just gave numbers so I'm unsure if the BitFenix Colossus can easily fit a R9 290.

I can't find that case's maximum GPU length anywhere.

@Godlygamer23 Don't suppose you know?

I can't find it either. I even found a review for it on Bit-Tech. It said "To Be Confirmed." What?

This is the review I found: http://www.bit-tech.net/hardware/cases/2010/09/14/bitfenix-colossus-review/1

@Jaton If that's the case you're going with, it might be worth contacting BitFenix and ask them what the maximum GPU length is as we can't find it anywhere (usually the manufacturer posts it in the specs, only they haven't.)

It's pathetic though that there's no information on the maximum graphics card length. While I assumed it was fine since it's an E-ATX case, I didn't want the OP to come back and be like "the card doesn't fit! It's all your fault!"

Yeah I know, but looking at reviews with a gtx 280 (10.5inches) in it and there's TONS of space to spare. The R9 290X PCB is 11 inches, so there shouldn't be a problem unless the OP is using some ridiculous cooler that tacks on another 4 inches to the card or something.
