Is it bad to save frequently (Mainly on console)?

VG Docs
Go to solution Solved by Atmos,

Only thing that can happen is filling up a couple gb of data with save files. That would be, quite a lot of save files though, like.. a lot of saves... like, thousands of saves...

I have a PS3 and Xbox 360, nearly every game that has a save feature I abuse it like there's no tomorrow. is this bad for the hard drive though? I heard from somewhere that it's bad to frequently do things like that with a hard drive as it'll go bad sooner (something to do with its parts being worn down over time).

Its not bad at all, save as many times as you want, but dont forget to delete the save files you dont use.

Anno, my skyrim files took up half my 320gb space in my xbox :D
