I am building a gaming rig and I just have a one question about the cooler. Will my RAM fit with this cooler ?

I have read that it is better to pick low profile RAM with this particular cooler, but RAM that I found fits to my colour scheme, and couldn't really find another one that looked nice. I would be open to any options as long as it will be cheaper or the same price... Already went over the budget >.<

Might be cutting it a little close. Its a tight fit in my zalman z11

On my motherboard I wouldn't be able to put two more Vengeance sticks in without removing one of the fans on my Hyper 212. If I used low profile ram sticks they'd fit though.

I was able to fit my ram g.skill ripjaws it was a close fit but i detached the fan and then pushed it up a quarter of an inch or so. No noticeable effect in cooling.

Would better option then be to find a low profile RAM, or would 2x8gb of this RAM would just barely fit, because I won't be planning on upgrading RAM in near future if at all.

My adata xpg v2 fits in perfectly fine. So I think the vengeance will too. My ram isn't quite as tall but close. There is a little bit of room left over for me.

There is a good chance the stick closest to the fan will make contact. If you're only using two sticks then you could use the farthest slots provided your motherboard has no issue with this.

 

Vengeance has a low profile version.
