Corsair H110 or H105?

Go to solution Solved by H4X3R,

H105 if it fits. IMO it looks better and it fits better (not 280mm like the h110).

Hey guys. I need a new cooler for my CPU and I can't decide which of these two to get, in Linus' review the H110 performed better but I was thinking since my ambient temps are high-ish, a thicker rad would be better. What do you guys think?

Cheers.

Are there any advantages to a thicker rad?

Yep, better temps than other 240mm AIOs. There isn't much more to that though. Cons: hard to fit push-pull configs in a medium-large case due to the thick rad (if you want to push-pull).

Thicker /or larger surface area radiators are better then that of smaller more easily fit-able aio coolers.

Over having a thicker / larger surface area you're able to have a similar / (maybe) just slightly lower fpi which'll allow the air to easily flow through the fins more quickly, dissipating heat much more efficiently.

Personally the H110 loses out because it doesn't have the Corsair link software/compatibility but it looks more better personally.
