Go to solution Solved by theKumba,

Since you are german, yes I can. It's called "C++ für Spiele Programmierer". It's kinda made for younger people, but you can still learn the one or the other word of C++. Idk if it's avivalible in the play store though.

So I started to learn c a biiit. Im trying out things with microsoft visual studio but i always fail at one thing: if i for example want to write:

if something == 0

     do this

When do i know where to use brackets, when not to use brackets, when to put quotation marks somewhere and so on? Im a complete noob at programming, but it's something i would like to study after school.

Get yourself a book that covers stuff like that. That's how I learned the basics.

I got one that was specifically oriented to programming games, which made the whole process a lot easier and a lot more exciting.

I once had one of these, now I've got this.

This would be

if(something == 0)

{

    Do something

}

spaces that are not in variables or something or white lines are ignored so it's a format thing

Can you reccomend any book (preferably available in google play store) that covers the complete basics like that?

You could try "learning C# by programming games".

Gonna try one of those. I have to charge money for the play store, so i still have time to decide. Thanks a lot to you guys.
