Quick question, how long until the EVGA GTX 770 SC w/ ACX 2GB is out of stock on all sites such as Amazon? I'm aware that it is already out of stock on newegg and is being replaced by the 900 series. I'm hoping if I can still get it before Christmas. (Btw I live in Australia, if that helps with anything.)

Discontinued mean they don't make them, as long as sites have stock they can keep selling it.

Discontinued means it is no longer manufactured... there still might be thousands sat in a warehouse

I assume there will be a 960 coming out, why not get a 970?

 

Or perhaps one of the AMD cards if not

Well it would have the performance of the 770 but be cheaper than the 970

In 12 months we will have the next generation of cards, why would they release the 980 and 970 now, and then wait a year to release the lower end cards?
