Best 780ti for SLI / runs coolest?

Naeem
Go to solution Solved by Archangel1994,

1. Single card: Gigabyte probably

2. 2-way SLI: EVGA Non-ACX

3. Probably the gigabyte

4. Not really aside from a frame or 2

Soo im planning on getting a 780ti and was wondering wich one is better for gaming?

The evga SC ACX  or the gigabyte windforce Ghz edition or the Gigabyte Windforce OC edition.

So in a few points:

1. Single card performance

2. 2 way SLI performance

3. Wich one runs cooler

4. Would you really see a difference?

Also keep in mind that the windforce cards are about 10% cheaper in the netherlands ( where i live)

Also No fanboyism on a card just because u like EVGA or Gigabyte doesnt mean u should recommend it... im talking pure stats.

This is why you should not get an FX CPU for ANY scenario other than rendering on a budget http://linustechtips.com/main/topic/286142-fx-8350-r9-290-psu-requirements/?p=3892901 http://linustechtips.com/main/topic/266481-an-issue-with-people-bashing-the-fx-cpus/?p=3620861

Well is that your only choices?

I myself would go with,Asus Matrix, best one out there, then MSI,ASUS and then EVGA.

Asus Matrix cost the most, but it is the best.

Evga have great support but that is only because they charge you more so they are able to replace your card or fix it for free if something goes wrong.

I myself would go with MSI,then Asus DirectII. I don't like gigabyte's cards so much but they would do just fine. It is just my personal opinions. But if you don't care about price go with evga.

if you're planning to SLI them, get some reference style cards.

INTEL CORE I5 4670K | NVIDIA GTX 980 | NOCTUA NH-L9i | GIGABYTE GA-Z97X-SLI | KINGSTON 120GB V300

CM STORM QUICKFIRE TK | BENQ XL2420TE | ROCCAT SAVU | FRACTAL DEFINE R4

The ACX is the better of the 2 cards. You will see basically no difference between the two in singe use or SLI. I would say that the EVGA would run cooler. And what are you asking for #4?

#4 if you would notice a difference between the 2 cards like lets say ill get 2 EVGA's  would that give me a noticable difference then having 2x Windforce GHZ's ?

http://www.guru3d.com/articles-pages/palit-geforce-gtx-780-super-jetstream-review,28.html

Palit card won top pick award over the Gigabyte card so if you can find the Palit at the same price point you should consider it but from what I can tell that is impossible as it cost much more than other cards if you can find it.

Too many ****ing games!  Back log 4 life! :S
