I want to start water cooling

Go to solution Solved by ForsakenLive,

Look i would want a triple 120mm on the top a single 140 on the rear and a double 140 on the front

Kits are usually a good starting point, you can also upgrade them or copy the components and get them separately.

This kit from XSPC has a tube res, a good 360 rad, a D5 vario pump and the CPU block.

http://www.frozencpu.com/products/23378/ex-wat-299/XSPC_Raystorm_RX360_V3_Extreme_Universal_CPU_Water_Cooling_Kit_w_D5_Photon_and_Free_Dead-Water.html?tl=g30c83s137

Add a GPU block, http://www.frozencpu.com/products/22128/ex-blc-1579/EK_GeForce_780_GTX_Ti_VGA_Liquid_Cooling_Block_-_Acetal_EK-FC780_GTX_Ti_-_Acetal.html

Can add a Dual 140mm on the front http://www.frozencpu.com/products/16829/ex-rad-430/Alphacool_NexXxoS_XT45_Full_Copper_Dual_140mm_Radiator.html?tl=g30c95s930

Get similar fittings for both rad and GPU block.

I don't really recommend the 140mm at the back, it doesn't have as much clearance, it's a pain to install with the 360 on the top, and will make little difference, your radiator surface area is even overkill for SLI.

I want to setup water cooling and i don't know what to get. I have a 750D as a case, a GTX 780 reference, a socket LGA 1150 i want at least 2 rads

This might take a bit but I should be able to suggest some parts. Are there any colors that I should be looking for?

How much are you looking to spend?

I don't know how much is needed for a decent water cooling loop

I wouldn't say cheap. $500 should get you a custom watercooling system of decent quality. :)

If you're doing custom watercooling you should never go with anything less than 'decent quality' unless you want to risk looking everything in your PC.

So many people have asked about water cooling in the 750D on this forum, you could just do a good ol' search and find what you're looking for.

Custom loops are that, custom. What radiator setup do you have in mind? What kind of res do you want to show off? What colors are you into?

TBH sticking to one single company is not the best idea... EK has amazing water blocks, but I like Alphacool radiators a lot more, Primochill Tubbing and hard tubes, Bitspower fittings, and Laing pumps. Every company has its own distingued products that made them what they are today.

Tell us what your ideas for the loop are.

Buy any decent XSPC or EK full kit,360 rad minimum with preferably a D5 pump and buy the block that fits your card. You can do this via coolingconfigurator.com.

Run the kit and see if you want to aesthetically change stuff later, spending a sack load of cash straight away can be a disappointing experience. Expectation do not always go hand in hand with results.

What are your goals for this WC kit? Silence? Performance? Aesthetics?
