660ti temps + ideas for better solutions
Hey guys, after weeks of fiddling and browsing forums i'm still unsure if everything is running optimally even after adding my own custom fan curves etc.
RIG DETAILS AT BOTTOM + PICS
I built most of my rig about a year ago and about 3 weeks ago did a clean and added new components, one of which was better case fans and a fan controller.
After installing the bitfenix recon i started to pay extra attention to my temperatures and noticed my graphics cards were running a bit hotter than I would normally like; as such i ghetto-mounted an extra fan that dropped idle and load temperatures by a few degrees. My main problem is that one graphics card is consistently 10-15 degrees hotter, even if I crank the speeds on that GPU to 100%.
The current setup is that the top GPU (GPU1) has connected to it 2 monitors via DVI and also a home theatre connected via HDMI (left of screen in picture) - I use this for non-gaming audio out and watching media. GPU2 has no connections.
GPU idle temps -
GPU1: 43
GPU2: 32
GPU load temps-
GPU1: 74
GPU2: 63
Am i being paranoid or is there something that can be optimised here?
I'd love to move the card into the last PCIe slot but there isn't enough clearance

Don't know what you are complaining about, temps are fine, the top GPU will be hotter as it is the primary graphics card plus it doesn't have as much breathing space as the bottom GPU, you should be OK, also nice rig and welcome to the forums, hope you enjoy your stay.
