What's a good program to backup up my drives?

So I come from a Mac and Time Machine was amazing. I'm looking for something like that for Windows now.  I have a 4TB WD drive I'd like to designate as a back-up drive but don't know where to start.

Built-in windows backup works okay.

I personally use Genie Timeline for all my systems. It backs up to a network computer. http://www.genie9.com/free_products/free_timeline.aspx Seems to do the trick.
