You can't always feel scratches/cracks.

Well it's embarrassing to say but my sister just told me my nephew was near my monitor with a marker. Try cleaning it a bit more thoroughly and what do you know it came off. Thanks for replying though guys. :D

So today a random curved blue line was running down the center of my recently bought Asus VS248H 24". Not sure what the cause could be there's no bump when I feel where the line is or a scratch. Anyone ever dealt with something similar?

Looks like a sracth/crack. Or it is a piece of hair.

It's not a scratch or crack as I stated there's no bumps on it, it's as smooth as the rest of screen. Nor is it a marker/pen as I tried cleaning it as well with no luck. :/

Is it on the outside of the screen?

I would try to wash it with a screen cleaner and see if it goes away. It looks more like what Levent said than a scratch. If that does not fix it, is it still under warranty? That I assume is more than enough to get it repaired under warranty
