Asus 5 way optimization. i5 4690k

Go to solution Solved by Assassin,

So i just installed my motherboard and cpu. I have the asus z97-A and the i5 4690k and now i want to overclock with asus 5 way optimization. But when i try to start it, it tells me to get the mei drivers before running asus 5 way optimization. I have no idea what mei drivers are. I googled it and downloaded some mei drivers but they didnt want to install. It told me that i didnt meet the requirments.

so I tried to start asus 5 way optimization anyway and overclock with it but when it was on TPU it just shut down my computer and skiped that part all together. So i was just wondering if you anyone of you guys know anything about Mei drivers and asus 5 way optimization. And now it looks like my cpu got downclocked so it is at 3.4ghz now.. I have noticed that as soon as i get up to 3.5ghz wich is the stock speed btw i get a blue screen. :((

They are management engine interface drivers. I have taken this link directly from Z97-A page on Asus product page. Download the drivers from here and install it.

The only way to deal with an unfree world is to become so absolutely free that your very existence is an act of rebellion.

Did you find the drivers? I am having the same issue. On a side note, I have almost the exact same PC as you, only a Dark Rock pro 3 and a Evga SC ACx 770 :))

hey, welcome to the forum.

unfortunately your 1st post is against the coc, I'd suggest you make a new thread specific to the problem you may have, and while you're at it I'd recommend giving the coc a quick read.
