Can I run my H110 pump on the pwr_fan header?

Go to solution Solved by Bagmup,

I googled it before posting and I found other references to a molex but mine's just got a standard fan plug. The instruction manual says to plug the pump into a 3-pin header.

You can, but i would get a 3 pin to molex adapter so that it runs 100% speed all the time

Is it okay to run my H110 pump on the pwr_fan header?

I've read that it's okay and I've also read that it's only used for monitoring fan speeds in the PSU.

Not sure what to do.

Does the power fan fluctuate?

For safety sake I think I'll use a molex adapter as suggested, thanks,  :)

...hang on, the pump connector on the H110 is 3-pin, isn't it? It's two PWM fans and a 3-pin pump...

ooh nvm stupid moment
