Silent Fan Controller

Go to solution Solved by Theo,

Scythe Kaze Master 2?

Hiya guys, I'm pretty obsessed with having a proper silent PC, Its already really quiet but its still too much haha so could anyone recommend a fan controller which allows you to completely switch off the fans as I already run my fans at minimum RPM's but i'd like to be able to switch them completely off when I'm not doing anything demanding. So far I've come across this http://www.amazon.co.uk/NesteQ-FanMax-Control-Unit-Black/dp/B002B7LD60 but it's out of stock everywhere (I think its discontinued). It needs to support at least 6 fans and I don't really want to spend more than £30 ($50 US). Also I'm in england. cheers guys.

I think all fan controllers should be able to completely switch them off if I'm not mistaken. Would have to look at the range of voltages it allows or something.

Most are 5-12 volts.

@loccilucas I'm currently running a "g vans tactus 6"

Loving it to death, it works really nice and the features actually work properly lol

It's touch screen, has 0 volts, to 12 volt control, lots of different colors for the LCD, temperature sensors and has automatic fan control you can use as well.

It's really nice for the price (60-80 USD)

( i know its out of budget, but its extremely nice for what it does)

Lamptron, G vans and phobya all make a version.  Here's the link to the lamptron version: http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=BB-004-LP
